Hello Lakers Friends and Family,
March Break has come and gone! Spring is now on its way.
In case you missed it, which would be hard to do, the senior girls and senior boys made it to Harbour Station for Provincial Basketball Finals. The senior boys captured the Championship in the final seconds. Congratulations to all players and coaches.
The cafeteria area has been upgraded with lounge style furniture that is accessible to all students during break and lunch. The area is also open to students and teachers during class time.
Volleyball and Badminton has begun and looks like it will be an exciting season.
Mr. White and the theater group is back at it, with a Spring performance in the works “The Outsiders”, stay tuned for tickets dates.
We had an amazing Winter Wellness Day on March 4, the day had students head outside for a variety of activities, snowshoeing, fires and even some activities inside.
The Harvey Helpers, the group who has been overseeing the canteens and many other fundraisers is looking for more people to help. This group supports all kinds of school endeavours, from sports, theater, recreation, clubs and more. Currently, the group is examining the upgrading of bleachers for the gym, but also repainting the cafeteria and entry way! Recently, the group purchased a new ping pong table for the school. Harvey High would not be the same without this amazing group of people!

April 14: Parent Teacher Interviews, no school for grades 6-12
