Hello Lakers Friends and Family
The snow is quickly melting away and soon the warmth of spring will be
fully here!

  • Volleyball season is in full swing with teams of all age levels
    representing the school very well.
  • We have two students who will be entering the Provincial Skills Canada
competition for video production. Skills Canada is an amazing
organization that truly allows students to develop skills in a competition
format. Competition areas include carpentry, mechanics, hair, fashion,
welding, baking, cooking, photography and more.
  • Lakers of the Month were announced during our monthly assembly. I
am continually amazed with the students and their endless dedication
to learning, kindness and showing what it means to be a Laker.
  • Now that spring has arrived, the fields are really wet and muddy. If
your child is attracted to the puddles and mud (wonderful), please send
along a change of socks and pants. There is nothing worse than being
wet for the afternoon in class.
  • High School is undergoing large changes and it is an exciting time for
teachers, students, and families to be apart of. We will continue to
share information as updates to families as we move forward.
  • Continued progress on the reorganization and upgrades to the skilled
trades labs is happening. If you are interested in seeing what is
happening contact the school. The New Brunswick Apprenticeship
Program has been revamped and is stronger than ever. We encourage
the community who is the business of skilled trades who are looking for
apprentices to contact the school. We can put business in contact with
    the province to help.
